AMCHAM-MACEE Scholarship 2008

I just sent in my inch-think application to MACEE yesterday for this scholarship, which awards USD 20000 to one Malaysian every year through annual grants of USD 5000 for four years. And it is bond-free. A long shot and heavy competition, but I’m definitely crossing my fingers and praying for the best. They required, among others, an essay and a personal statement, as well as two reference letters.
A big thank you goes out to Ms Khoo Bee Chan and Ms Ong An Dian from National Junior College for helping me with the teacher references, as well as Sherene Lim my Cell Group Leader for the community reference, even though she was really busy with her work.
I should know of the outcome in August. All the best to all who are applying for this scholarship as well!
*I think it is almost a 99.9% certainty that UC Berkeley would be it, not NUS.*

You have like a few days left to accept your NUS posting, so might as well make up your mind and go Berkeley soon. =)

Haha ignore = reject… oh, forgot to tell you all the best for MACEE scholarship! Quite a bounty there eh? That’s like four times my allowance I think.
